Wenatchee River: October 14 & 15: Overall, great time on the Wenatchee. We walked and waded Thursday, and floated between Cashmere and Monitor on Friday. Couple of hits, but nothing landed. If you need a shuttle, the guys at Leavenworth Shuttles are great. We stayed at a nice cabin in the woods called The Tree Haus. There's a ton of wine tasting - we hit the Cascadia tasting room in our waders between runs! Icicle Ridge Winery was a great end of day spot, we hung out on the back deck with a bottle of wine and cheese. Nice all around trip, beautiful water & weather -- wine was a total bonus!

Food: Restaurants are always changing; but we like... Carmalita's in the Plaza, margaritas and shrimp at El Costino on the beach...
